2 children,11-month-old and a 3-year-old banefully stabbed in the Bronx

Two children—an 11-month-old and a 3-year-old—were stabbed to death in the Bronx on Saturday, and their mother has been taken into custody, according to the police.

It took place in the Mount Hope section at an apartment in a family shelter on Echo Place near Anthony Avenue.

According to the New York Police Department, officers were sent to the apartment for a report of a woman acting irrationally around 7:20 p.m.

She tried to burn things in the kitchen, despite the fact that she did not have any weapons, according to the police.

At the point when officials showed up, they found a 24-year-elderly person inside the loft, acting unreasonably.

She was taken into custody without a hitch and taken to a nearby hospital around 7:50 p.m., when a family friend informed the police that the woman’s children were with their father.

According to the police, another 911 call was received from the same location at 7:55 p.m. reporting that two children were unresponsive and not breathing.

An 11-month-old boy and a 3-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds to their necks and torsos were discovered by the officers when they returned.

Until the ambulance arrived, the officers and another family member attempted to revive the children. They were both taken to a nearby hospital, where they were given the all-clear for death.

A neighbor saw the children being carried off on a stretcher.

“We are unaware of the situation. They were yelling and screaming at me just now.”Help me, help me, help me,” he yelled incessantly.

He ran the boys out at that point. She told CBS2’s Jennifer Bisram, “They were naked, and there was blood everywhere on them.” “She killed them, she killed them,” he declared.

The mother of the children is a person of interest, according to the police, and she has been taken into custody.

The investigation is still underway.
