Tiktok new feature for advertisers
According to social media consultant and industry sleuth Matt Navarra, TikTok appears to be working on a new lead generation feature for businesses.
Businesses will be able to collect and manage leads on the platform with the new feature. The latter will be accomplished by adding notes to collected leads and utilizing tracking features.
More information to come: TikTok hasn’t said anything about how the new feature might work yet.
Live Subscription comes to TikTok earlier this week. Live Subscription is a monthly subscription that gives users more access to their favorite creators.
Live Subscription is expected to become available worldwide in the coming months, though it will initially be available only via invitation this month.
Live Subscription aims to help creators increase their income while simultaneously expanding and engaging their communities.
Subscribers to particular creators will receive:
Badges for Members : Identifications displayed close to their name on their profile and redesigned over the long haul.
Custom Emotes : Exclusive emotes created specifically for use in Live Sessions.
According to a blog post, these are intended to “bring the community together and make your sessions more spirited.”
Subscribers only chat : a chat room where creators and subscribers can talk to each other.
Creators must be over the age of 18 and have at least 1,000 followers in order to use the Live Subscription feature.
Additionally, users cannot send or receive Coins or Gifts or subscribe to the service. It is against the rules for creators to solicit gifts or provide incentives for gift-giving.
The move is part of TikTok’s strategy to give creators more ways to make money. TikTok announced earlier this month that they are developing a program for creators, public figures, and media publications with at least 100,000 followers to share advertising revenue.
To give creators access to the TikTok Creator Fund, TikTok Creator Marketplace, Live Gifts, Video Gifts, and Tips before that, TikTok launched Creator Next.
The social media platform TikTok announced the launch of a new feature that highlights content from friends. In the coming weeks, the platform will launch a Friends Tab to make it easier for users to connect with their contacts.
The new feature is meant to make it easier for users to find content from people they already know.
In a preview of the feature earlier this year, social media expert Matt Navarra stated that “posts are from followers that you follow back, accounts you follow, and other suggested accounts.”
Additionally, he disclosed that TikTok had switched from the Discover Tab to the Friends Tab. Users have utilized the Discover Tab to locate trending videos, hashtags, and creators.Instead, users will probably have to use the search icon at the top of the homepage.
It is notable that TikTok is now attempting to feature more content from friends – or at least followers that you follow back – as Instagram attempts to increase content recommendations on the homepage based on what they think users might want to see.
The effort appears to be a strategy for expanding the platform’s community acceptance.
