Co-tweeting on Twitter is now available to users

Twitter lunches new feature called “Co-tweet”

Have you ever heard the expression “two heads are better than one”? Today, Twitter launched a brand-new feature that lets users co-tweet, putting that theory to the test.

Users can invite any public account that follows them to co-author a tweet using the feature, which goes by the official name “CoTweet. “However, the invitee may decline the request. The draft of the CoTweet will be deleted if they do so.

In December 2021, the information that Twitter was working on tweet collaborations was leaked by mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi.

The feature is currently only available to select users, and given that it is still in the testing stage, it may only be available for a limited time.

On the off chance that you truly do approach the element, you’ll see another symbol to one side of the area symbol at the lower part of the form tweet segment.
You will receive an invitation in your Twitter notifications if you receive a CoTweet request.

Instagram officially launched a collaboration feature in October of last year, allowing users to share the same post in their own Feed or Reels.

Twitter probably has the same goal as Instagram: it wants to attract creators and make it possible for brands and influencers to work together.

Both authors will increase their discoverability and engagement by co-tweeting, which will allow them to reach new and larger audiences.

Notes, a new feature that enables selected users to publish longer content on the platform, was announced today by Twitter as a strategy for longer content.

The feature is currently being tested. A few authors have begun sharing longer posts with their audiences as part of the test.

The body of a note can only contain 2,500 words, which is a significant departure from the current posting limit of 280 characters. Note titles can be as long as 100 words. Users can also make changes to the post after it has been published, unlike regular posts.

Users in the majority of nations can read these posts on and off of Twitter.Twitter did not specify which nations currently lack access.

Note cards, which are Tweets that include Note previews and links, will be visible in the Home timeline of viewers who have access.Under the new Notes tab, users can also visit a writer’s profile to read their published Notes.

Additionally, note URLs will be unique and accessible to all users, regardless of whether or not they are logged into Twitter or have an account there.

Depending on what they learn from this testing phase, Twitter claims that they plan to gradually increase the number of users who can access the feature.

Try not to expect a feed loaded with long-structure content at any point in the near future, in any case.According to Twitter, a complete switch from short-form Tweets to long-form Notes is not in the works.

According to the company, “the purpose of the tool we are testing is to provide an additional experience for writers on Twitter beyond Tweets.”
